- Former Dominican Navy officer and regional leader in the National Sea Rescue Institute with 5 years of search-and-rescue experience.
- Commanded 100 ft Hargrave yachts on Bahamas/Caribbean itineraries up to 40 weeks per year for four consecutive years.
- Holds advanced OOW-level training: GSK, Navigation & Radar, ARPA, PSCRB, GMDS, Advanced Fire Fighting, Designated Security Duties, PSSR, PST, First Aid, SAMSA Rescue Coxswain.
