ENIGMA is a Lagoon 62 that treats shallow water like its home turf. With a 1.7m draft and catamaran stability, it gets you in close to reefs, beaches and quiet coves that deeper yachts can only stare at on the plotter. If your charter plan is “anchor where the water turns that impossible shade of blue” rather than “hover a mile offshore,” this hull was built for you.
Space-to-guest ratio is the other trick up its sleeve. Designed by VPLP and launched in 2013, ENIGMA sleeps 8 guests in 4 equal-status queen cabins, all en suite, all with Lagoon’s trademark hull windows for actual views rather than cave living. There’s a full-beam master with sofa and indoor/outdoor access, plus a VIP with dual entrances, so privacy and circulation are sorted even with a full boat.
Social layout is pure cat logic: big, flat, usable. The open-plan saloon flips between lounge and dining mode without the usual yacht Tetris, and slides straight out to the aft cockpit for shaded alfresco meals and a permanent “feet-up” zone. Wide decks, a proper swimming platform and a double sunpad make moving from coffee to snorkel to BBQ a fast operation, not an expedition.
Comfort systems are modern and boring in the best way. Full air conditioning, onboard Wi‑Fi, and a stable platform underway mean you can work, doomscroll, or ignore all of it while the crew of three runs the boat, the toys and the galley. Cruising at around 8 knots keeps things civil; the real performance advantage is comfort and access, not drag racing.
If your brief is: eight people, real beds, real space, shallow anchorages and a crew that handles the complexity while you handle the view, ENIGMA is the sensible answer wearing a “superyacht lifestyle” skin.
