RAINBOW is a J‑Class racing weapon disguised as a classic gentleman’s yacht. She’s the first J‑Class ever built with a hybrid propulsion and power system, which means you get big‑sail performance with ecological, near‑silent running when you want to drop the noise level and just hear the water.
Below decks, the mood flips from Grand Prix race mode to Art Deco club room: raised and fielded mahogany paneling, period detailing, and a layout designed for actual human comfort rather than museum duty. RAINBOW sleeps up to 6–8 guests in 3 cabins, including a full‑beam master, with all the modern requirements quietly baked in: Wi‑Fi, air‑con, and a crew of 7–8 whose day job is making a 40m J‑Class behave like your private toy.
On deck, she’s pure performance hardware: Southern Spars high‑modulus carbon mast and boom, 3Di racing sails, carbon rigging, and high‑speed hydraulic winches built for J‑Class regattas. When you’re not hunting line honours, the toys come out: towables, wakeboard, inflatable SUPs and snorkel kit, launched from a Zodiac RIB that does the shuttling.
If you want a charter that feels less like renting a villa at sea and more like temporarily owning a piece of living yacht history—with modern systems, quiet hybrid power, and a race‑ready deck plan—RAINBOW is the point where mythology and engineering shake hands.
