Serious sailing pedigree. WINDROSE OF AMSTERDAM is a 46.32m (152ft) Holland Jachtbouw schooner built in 2002 and refit in 2023, designed by Dykstra & Partners with performance under sail very much on the agenda. She has twice broken the transatlantic record for schooners (2002 and 2005). Not just for dockside photos.
Quiet nights onboard. A hybrid power system supports “silent ship” operation for an entire night with full load and no generators running, which means sleep without the usual background hum. The open-plan salon and dining area keeps the day easy and social.
Deck life that works. There is a sheltered on-deck dining area for long meals underway or at anchor, plus a pilothouse saloon where you can eat or keep watch while sailing. Simple flow. Good sightlines.
Toys with purpose. The water set-up covers wakeboard, water-skis (including a monoski), paddleboards, kayaks, inflatable watertoys, and Yamaha sea scooters, with snorkelling gear and full diving gear for five plus a Bauer 200/300 bar dive compressor. Two tenders, including a 4.58m/15’ Castoldi and a 4.20m SOLAS inflatable, make getting everyone off the mothership fast and painless.
Flexible for eight. She sleeps 8 guests in 4 en-suite cabins, including a master with a queen, plus a mix of twins and Pullmans; the two mid twin cabins can convert into king doubles when you want fewer separate beds and fewer negotiations.
